Home care workers will also have the flexibility to work for organizations providing temporary or part-time care for individuals who are semi-independent or recovering from an injury or illness.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum language proficiency of level 4 on the Canadian Language Benchmarks tests

• Equivalent of a Canadian high school diploma

• Recent and relevant work experience

• Full-time home care job offer

Rural Community Immigration Pilot

Building on the success of the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP), the new Rural Community Immigration Pilot will launch in 2025. Manitoba’s West Central Immigration Initiative Pilot

Announced on November 15, this three-year pilot program addresses labour market shortages in Manitoba’s rural west-central region. The initiative involves collaboration between seven rural municipalities and Gambler First Nation, building on regional immigration efforts in Winkler-Stanley, Morden, and the Parkland region.
